Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an infrared absorption ink excellent in an infrared absorption characteristic, a toner for electrophotography, an ink jet record liquid, a thermal transcription material for invisible pattern formation and an invisible pattern using them by using a specific infrared absorption material. SOLUTION: The infrared absorption ink for invisible pattern formation contains an infrared absorption material wherein the maximum wavelength of spectroscopic absorption has 750-1,100 nm and absorbance at 650 nm is not more than 5% of absorbance at the maximum wavelength of the spectroscopic absorption.
